Four Voices Divas of Folk Music

The Four Voices concert brings together four divas of folk rock music whose voices are celestial! The relationship between Joan Baez, the Indigo Girls and Mary Chapin Carpenter began at a 1991 benefit for human rights. They then appeared at the Newport Folk Festival. This is the group’s first tour.

Joan Baez is an American music legend. She introduced Bob Dylan to the world in 1963, marched with Martin Luther King, and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She has received the Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Mary Chapin Carpenter has recorded 14 albums and sold over 14 million records. She has won five Grammy Awards and is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Indigo Girls are the only group with Top 40 hits on the Billboard 500 in four different decades. Their latest album, “One Lost Day,” was released in 2015.
