The Transamerica Chicago Triathlon has races and activities for all ages. On Friday the 26th, enjoy the Multi-Sport & Fitness Expo at the Hilton Chicago at 730 South Michigan Avenue. Or: just come on Saturday for the Multi-Sport & Fitness Expo. There will be 150 exhibitors and 200 booths! The Expo also serves as the pickup point for your race packets. There are mandatory race meetings for all participants.
On Sunday the 8th, choose from a variety of races and levels of fitness. The Lifetime Kids Tri is open to boys and girls 7-14, and features a 375 m. swim, a 10.5 m bike ride and a 2.5 km run. The adult competitions begin at Monroe Harbor and loop around to Columbus Drive. They include the Super Sprint, Sprint and International Olympic races. The professional race features a .93 mile swim, a 24.8 miles bike ride, and a 6.2 mile run. Awards will be presented to men and women winners in all categories.
Post-race activities include a post-race party and picnic.
