Tov Lo at the House of Blues

Come to Chicago’s House of Blues to hear Swedish singer/songwriter Tov Lo February 16, and stay at the nearby and affordable Chicago Lake Shore Hotel!

If you like confessional music about sex and love, Tov Lo is for you! She is heavily influenced by Courtney Love and the late Amy Winehouse. A member of the former Swedish band Tumblebee, she established herself as a songwriter by signing with Warner Chappell music. Her debut album, “Queen of the Clouds,” quickly rose to number 14 on the Billboard charts in 2014. Her single from the album, “Habits,” reached number 3.

Tov Lo’s songwriting for other performers includes Hillary Duff’s “Sparks,” and Ellie Goulding’s ‘Love Me like You Do,” which earned her a first Grammy Award nomination. Since then, she has collaborated with Cold Play, Nick Jonas, Adam Lambert, Seven Lions, Broods, Wiz Khalifa and many more. She has been nominated for the Grammy, Teen Choice, Critic’s Choice, and the Golden Globe Awards.

Tov Lo’s music is “simple, spare, electronic and unfussy.” The New Yorker. “Sweden’s darkest pop export.” Rolling Stone
