Winter Flower and Train Show

Celebrate the holidays by taking the family to see the Winter Flower and Train Show at the Lincoln Park Conservatory December 4-January 4, and stay at the nearby and affordable Chicago Lake Shore Hotel!

The Winter Flower and Train Show will make your spirits bright and your bodies warm! The show is inside the stunning Lincoln Park Conservatory, with its dazzling arrays of plants from around the world, and rain forest room which is very warm and steamy!

An old fashioned model steam engine and freight trains will wend their way through the conservatory, through a village lined with exotic pink and white poinsettias and princettias: Luv U Pink, Merlot, Ice Punch, Infinity Polar. The village, which will feature Chicago-style homes and models of such iconic landmarks as Water Tower Place and the Chicago Theatre, will be constructed of natural materials such as willow, spruce and birch woods.

You might want to stop by the Lincoln Park Zoo to see the spectacular holiday light show, where the kids can take photos with Santa, make arts and crafts, carol to the animals, watch ice carving and so much more!

The Lincoln Park Conservatory is located at Lake Shore Drive and the Fullerton Parkway in Chicago. Admission is free. For more information, call (312) 742-2000 or go online to www.lpzoo.org and follow the prompts.
