Carnivale Delirium: The Midnight Caberet

Leave the kids with Grandma and come to Carnivale Delirium: The Midnight Cabernet at Reggies Chicago, April 9, and stay at the nearby and affordable Chicago Lake Shore Hotel!

Carnivale Delirium: The Midnight Cabernet is a burlesque show featuring some of the weirdest and most interesting acts you could hope for. Hosted by one Mr. Sammy Tramp, the show is a lot of good clean fun. This year’s featured guests are The Swingrowers Brothers (from Italy) and from Philadelphia, The Squidlings. Also featured are Black Jake and the Carnies, Gaea Lady, Miss Violet Vendetta, and Mr. Automatic!

The Swingrowers Brothers are playing to sold out houses all over the world. They specialize in Swing-influenced music from the 30s, but with modern synthesizers and other instruments. You can dance, you can clap, but you can’t sit still for the Swingrowers Brothers! The Squidling Brothers are all about homage to carnival sideshow acts. Part musical act, freak show, sword swallowing and dancing, the Brothers are sure to amuse and delight you! Did we mention syringes pierced through skin?

Reggies Chicago is located at 2105 South State Street in Chicago, just a block away from two train lines. For tickets and the full schedule and times for Carnivale Delirium: The Midnight Cabernet, go online to www.reggieslive.com.
