Chicago Blues Festival

The Chicago Blues Festival is world famous. It is three days of safe, outdoor fun, and listening to some of the world’s greatest living musicians! You can bring a family picnic or enjoy Chicago-style food from vendors around the park. DO come early, as crowds tend to number in the thousands!

This year’s Chicago Blues Festival featured acts are blues guitarist John Primer and the Real Deal, and soul singer and songwriter William Bell! There will be tributes to late greats Killer Ray Allison and Barrelhouse Chuck, Blues in the Schools with Kathrine Davis and Stone Academy, and panel discussions and films.

Sampling of Acts: Rhymefest, Billy Branch and the Son of Blues, Demetria Taylor, Mary Lane and the No Static Blues Band, Nick Moss Band, The Mike Wheeler Band, Cedric Burnside Project, Rip Lee Pryor, Nellie Tiger Travis, Big Bill Morganfield, Bridges to the Blues by Donda House, Kenny “Beedy Eyes” Smith, Tail Dragger and the Allstars, Vance Kelly and the Backstreet Blues Band, and a whole lot more!

Millennium Park is located at 201 East Randolph Street at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Columbus Avenue. The Chicago Blues Festival is free.
