Chicago Hot Dog Fest

Bring the family to the Chicago Hot Dog Fest at the Chicago History Museum August 5-7, and stay at the nearby and affordable Chicago Lake Shore Hotel!

The Chicago Hot Dog Fest is all about, uh, hot dogs. If you don’t know, the Chicago hot dog is like no other dog on the planet. If you dare ask for ketchup, someone will grab the bottle and throw it away!

Meat the Chicago Hot Dog Fest vendors: Byron’s Hot Dogs, Fatso’s Last Stand, Flashy Hot Dogs, Cooker’s Red Hots, Frannies Beef and Catering, Wiener Take All, Edso’s, and Dog House Grill!

Meat the bands: Three Beards, School of Rock, The Flat Cats, Last Call Chicago, Cat Fight and many more! Meet the speakers: singer Laura Doherty, Peter Alter on baseball and hot dogs, Jennifer “Mustard Girl” O’Connor, Russell Lewis on the old Chicago stockyards, and a debate on whether or not the hot dog is a sandwich, a symposium on why you never put ketchup on a hot dog, and a talk on why Chicago is a wonderful wiener world!

And! There will be rides, face painting, games, inflatables, crafts, prizes and more to be announced!

The Chicago Hot Dog Fest is located at 1701 North Stockton Drive in Lincoln Park. Proceeds benefit the Chicago History Museum. For advance tickets, go online to www.chicagohotdogfest.com and follow the prompts.
