Chicago Margarita Festival

Bring your boyfriend to the Chicago Margarita Festival July 8-9 at Navy Pier, and stay at the nearby and affordable Chicago Lake Shore Hotel in historic Hyde Park!

The Chicago Margarita Festival will hold two tastings on Saturday and one on Sunday. There will be dancing, games, food trucks and live music featuring Latin Congo, house sounds, and “island sounds” themes.

Check out the food: Margarita Chicken, lime marinated chicken breast with cilantro mayonnaise; shrimp tostada, grilled marinated shrimp on crunchy tortillas with chips and salsa fresca; Asian pear crostini, with gorgonzola and sliced almonds; mini lobster roll on brioche; vegetable samosa with cilantro chutney; boursin cheeses stuffed mushrooms.

And, of course, you’ll be at fabulous Navy Pier. Take a stroll, crowd watch, lounge in the sun, ride the Ferris Wheel – before margarita drinking – enjoy the shops, the public sculpture and art, take a boat ride, or drop by the new Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Restaurant.
