Millennium Park Christmas

Bring the family to Chicago’s Millennium Park Christmas, for free outdoor ice skating and caroling, and stay the nearby and affordable Chicago Lake Shore Hotel!

Hardy souls will want to come to fantastic Millennium Park and celebrate the season with outdoor seasonal activities! Christmas Caroling at Cloud Gate (you may know it as The Bean) will take place at the famous mirror sculpture on Fridays, December 9, 16, & 23 from 6 pm to 7 pm. Local Chicago Choral groups will lead the festivities in this part-concert, part singalong! Wear your long underwear and bring your voice!

Meanwhile, the nearby McCormick ice skating rink will be open (weather permitting) through March 5! You can rent ice skates for twelve dollars in toddler size eight through adult thirteen! Or bring your own skates and skate for free! The ice surfaces will be resurfaced every twenty to thirty minutes. You can rent lockers for your things for a dollar! Ice skate sharpening will be offered for nine dollars. Free ice skating lessons an hour before the rink opens! Enjoy speed skating demonstrations, noodle ice hockey, and dance skating demonstrations!

The Park Grill, at 11 North Michigan Avenue, will feature snacks and hot chocolate!
