Ribfest Chicago went viral in 2013 when the Food Network’s “Eating America with Anthony Anderson discovered it and covered it, naming it “Chicago’s best food fest,” and visitors poured in from all the Midwest. Now the pig-out is one of the most visited events in summertime Chicago.
Ribfest Chicago is a five block street fair in the heart of the city’s north side, at the intersections of Lincoln Avenue, Damen and Irving Park Road. Hours: Friday-5-10 pm; Saturday-Sunday-noon to 10 pm. Conveniently located el stops are just blocks away.
