“The Flick” at Steppenwolf Theatre

Bring the movie lover in your life to see “The Flick,” the 2014 Pulitzer Prize winning play opening February 4 at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre, and stay at the nearby and affordable Chicago Lake Shore Hotel!

“The Flick,” by playwright Annie Baker, is a comedy of the ordinary, capturing the lives of three cinema art house employees in Worcester, Massachusetts who, as they clean soda and snacks from the theatre floor and maintain the projector and talk about their love for film, try to find a connection between the three of them. Personal relationships, it seems, don’t work as well as in the movies.

“The Flick” debuted Off Broadway in New York in 2012 and has played to acclaimed audiences over its long run. The Steppenwolf Theatre opening is a major event in American Theatre.
